After a year of suffering with an arm injury that left me unable to pick up a water bottle or crumple a piece of paper, I was referred to ABSOLUTE HEALTH CENTER. I had spent a year trying different remedies, from acupuncture to occupational therapy, and more. After all that time with no relief, I was in despair thinking I would have to live with continual burning arm pain all my life. I was still searching for alternative therapies, when I learned about Absolute Health Center.

The concept of inner fibrous scar tissue and myodynamic remodeling made sense to me, and so despite how painful the therapy might be (!), I decided to try a three week round of this type of deep tissue massage. Within two weeks I started to feel relief, and after 2 three-week rounds of therapy, I have the use of my arm back!

At the time, my insurance covered Dr’s Polvi and Levesque. I have since suffered a different type of injury on my other arm/shoulder. Despite the fact that I am not covered by insurance anymore, I am coming back to them again. I have spent the last four months in pain, trying other therapies on this arm-shoulder problem that were covered by insurance, and have not gotten relief. So now, I’m back at ABSOLUTE HEALTH CENTER. These doctors are the only ones who can find and feel my injuries before I say “ow”! That sensitivity is an important factor in my choice of them as my doctors.

Thank you Dr’s Levesque and Polvi — Thanks to this therapy I can play with my three year old, pick him up and push him on the swing again! I think this “Myodynamic Remodeling” therapy is brilliant when appropriate! Despite the fact that I’m not covered by insurance anymore, I came back — this therapy is worth every penny!
